This workshop takes a risk based approach to managing integrity in a recruitment process and it looks at the two sides of every recruitment process:
  • the integrity of decision making of the selection panel, and
  • the integrity of the applicant.
Looking at lessons learnt from recent Public Sector Commission reviews, research across jurisdictions and some well-known case studies, this workshop will provide practical recruitment tips and guidance to all public authorities.

The workshop outcomes are to:
  • identify integrity risk areas in recruitment,
  • outline strategies to avoid or appropriately manage them, and
  • discuss the important role panel members play in making good selection decisions.
Audience Group: This FREE session is for governance practitioners, managers with staffing responsibilities and employees likely to be involved with recruitment decisions in their public sector agency, government trading enterprise, local government and public university.
