Managing change
Change needs to be made and supported from the frontline. Managing change provides managers with a greater awareness of the drivers of change and explores practical strategies for implementing change in your own jurisdiction.
During this module, participants will:
  • understand changes in your agency and the public sector arising from sector reform (e.g. machinery of government), policy agenda, economic landscape, technology, demographics, community expectation and accountability
  • plan how to best contribute to the change as a manager by understanding the vision and purpose behind the change and communicating it effectively to your team
  • work with staff to support them throughout the change process, including strategies for communicating, consulting and promoting a positive change culture amongst teams and individuals.
The cost per participant is $165.00 per workshop (exc GST).
To participate in ME, participants must be in a Level 4 – 6 role managing a team of direct reports, providing ample opportunities to apply learnings direct from the workshop to the workplace.
