Department of Fire and Emergency Services - Review of response to a complaint and approach to gender inclusion
27 July 2018
The Commission tabled today a review into the response taken by the Department of Fire and Emergency Services to an anonymous complaint and into the Department’s broader approach to building a gender inclusive workplace.
The review found the Department’s leadership is committed to improving workplace diversity and inclusion and there is a strong framework in place to guide and manage behaviour. There was some room to improve on the roll out of equal employment opportunity , anti-bullying, harassment and discrimination training, which is being addressed by the Department.
This review is available on the Commission's website.
