e-Recruitment system contract awarded

30 May 2013

WA Government’s online e-Recruitment system, known as RAMS (Recruitment Advertising and Management System) is a critical whole-of-government online solution that provides a central e-recruitment point for WA Public Sector agencies.

RAMS is provided under contract DPC 1299 by Thomson Reuters. The Public Sector Commission manages this contract on behalf of all WA Government agencies.

The current RAMS contract is due to expire on 27 September 2013. The Commission has been undertaking a tender process to ensure a suitable provider is appointed under the terms of a new contract prior to the conclusion of the current contract to ensure a seamless continuity of service.

This tender process has included ongoing consultation and communication with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external, including a ‘Reference Group’ of agency users chosen as a mechanism for seeking feedback and providing advice. The Commission would like to take this opportunity to thank both the Reference Group and other involved agencies for their invaluable support and expertise in supporting the Commission in this tender process.

The Commission can now announce that Thomson Reuters has been awarded the new contract for a period of three (3) years, commencing 28 September 2013. Further communications will be provided as the implementation process progresses.
