Finalists announced for the 2013 Premier's Awards

13 August 2013

Judging for the 2013 Premier’s Awards has now concluded. All agencies have been advised of their project’s status. We extend thanks to all this year’s nominations and congratulate our 2013 finalists in contention for this year’s awards. Preparing nominations and presentations for the Awards is an extensive and worthwhile exercise.

For a list of nominations and finalists, see the announcement on the InterSector website.

Winners will be revealed in a twilight Awards Ceremony, scheduled for Wednesday 6 November 2013 between 6.00pm to 8.00pm at the Office of the Premier and Cabinet. This will be an invitation only event where CEOs and Program Managers of finalists join together in celebrating the success stories. Last year’s stories of success and project descriptions are available in the Premier’s Awards page.

Following the announcement at the Awards Ceremony of this year’s winners, the Premier will visit the overall Premier’s Awards winner in their agency. This initiative has been extremely well received in previous years by the project team and celebrated everyone’s involvement and shared success in the project.

We also anticipate holding a conference later this year to celebrate the success of these projects and provide the sector an opportunity to see how they may be able to mirror successful practices within their own agencies. More information will follow closer to the event on the events page. All public sector agencies, local governments and public universities will be invited to attend.
