The new InterSector website is live!

The Public Sector Commissioner Mal Wauchope today announced the launch of the redeveloped InterSector website.
InterSector has a history of recognising public sector employees and projects. Evolving from a print-magazine into an online resource, InterSector continues to provide agencies with tools to support cross-sector collaboration and information sharing.
The new InterSector:
- brings increased focus to public sector news, with a revised article submission process and engaging features to encourage agencies to participate
- includes an events calendar outlining forums, seminars and courses relevant to public sector employees
- provides forums for public sector employees to share information and network online with their colleagues from across the sector.
Mr Wauchope highlighted the new forums as a step forward in public sector communication.
‘Chief executive officers have expressed to me a need for improved cross-sector information sharing. While our long-standing e-network mailing lists have served us well, the sector has lacked a central point to communicate effectively online’, Mr Wauchope said.
‘The new InterSector complements traditional articles with discussion forums, allowing participants to post and reply on work-related projects and policies. Importantly, the knowledge base on these topics will grow as new participants join the conversation.’
