Newly appointed CEOs cover accountable and ethical decision making

Nine newly appointed public sector CEOs and directors’ general completed the Commission’s Accountable and ethical decision making (AEDM) training program on Tuesday 14 May 2013.
The session was facilitated by the Commissioner and hosted at Dumas House. As the employer of 76 public sector CEOs, the Commissioner is committed to personally delivering the training to his employees.
'I believe there is great benefit in CEOs sharing information about the accountability and integrity issues they face in the sector, in forums like this,' the Commissioner said. 'It ensures we’re all receiving the same message and creating a common understanding of how to address these issues.'
The session covered all the elements of the training, and in particular lively discussion was had on conflicts of interest and gifts and benefits and the use of confidential information.
