School Based Traineeship Program - open for registrations

The Public Sector Commission is calling for interested candidates who wish to undertake paid part time employment based training for one or two days a week in a WA public sector agency and attend school for the remaining three days.

Students commence the program in Year 11 and complete the traineeship at the end of Year 12. Trainees will learn a range of public administrative and office skills through supervised on the job training. After successfully completing the traineeship program students will be awarded a nationally recognized qualification, Certificate II in Government (Public Administration) and also complete their Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE).
