Under the PID Act, public authorities have to report to the Commissioner each year as outlined below.
Principal Executive Officer Report
Under section 23(f) of the Act, the principal executive officer of the public authority has to report annually to the Public Sector Commissioner on:
- the number of public interest disclosures received over the reporting period
- the results of any investigations conducted as a result of the disclosures
- the action, if any, taken as a result of each investigation.
The PSC provides public authorities with a reporting register which they submit electronically to the PSC to meet this reporting requirement.
Commissioner’s Compliance Report
To enable the Commissioner to meet these obligations, public authorities may need to provide certain additional information.
