Integrity and conduct survey
The Integrity and conduct survey (ICS) is sent annually to the principal officer of all local governments, public universities, government trading enterprises and government boards and committees.
The PID Act requires the Commissioner to report to Parliament on public authorities compliance with the PID Act and the Public interest disclosure code of conduct and integrity. Additionally, the CCM Act requires the Commissioner to monitor and report to Parliament on activities undertaken by public authorities to respond effectively to, and prevent, misconduct.
Public sector agencies (including departments of state, senior executive service (SES) organisations and non-SES organisations) respond to the Public sector entity survey (PSES), which contains similar questions to the ICS so results can be easily compared. The 2017 PSES is now closed.
The ICS is currently open until 31 July 2017, and requests data for the previous financial year. Further information about this year’s survey is available in the links below.
