Chief Human Resource Officers

Over the coming year, the Public Sector Commission is looking to work closely with Chief Human Resource Officers (CHROs) across State government agencies, local governments, public universities and the government trading enterprises.

Apart from the Chief Executive Officer, the CHRO is the most senior person responsible for workforce management and planning in public authority organisations.

We want to engage with CHROs about current and emerging human resource issues and solutions, build capability and a common language among CHROs and provide development opportunities.  It is also important to create a professional network of practice across WA jurisdictions to share information and learn from each other.
