Elective unit resources

This page is designed to assist Registered Training Organisations develop training materials for Government qualifications from the Public Sector Training Package (PSP04). It is an online collection of WA Public Sector-specific resources that can be used to customise training materials for the elective units of competency from the following qualifications:

  • Certificate II Government (PSP20104)
  • Certificate III Government (PSP30104)
  • Certificate IV Government (PSP40104)
  • Diploma of Government (PSP50104)
  • Advanced Diploma Government (PSP60104)

The resources have been collated into 10 generic Competency Fields:

The addition of resources which are mapped to the elective units from the generalist Government qualifications will, by providing relevant whole-of-government publications, policies and work practices, assist RTOs to develop Public Sector specific learning materials and programs to meet the workforce development needs of the WA Public Sector.

The resources provided are not an exhaustive list and should be used in conjunction with agency-specific resources. It is the responsibility of the RTOs to validate the training materials.
